Ventrilo Issue

I've been using Ventrilo for years with really no probs. I had to re-install it today and since then Ive been getting the following error message

"Unable to activate DirectSound for selected device.
DirectSoundCaptureCreate failed. HR=DSERR_NODRIVER. No sound driver is available for use"

And I dont know how to fix it....nvr had this happen before. Anyone got any ideas on what to do??

Hello, welcome to TSF.

Make sure you have the latest sound drivers, you should also try reinstalling the sound drivers. Also make sure your antivirus and firewall are not blocking the program.

Try installing the last version of ventrillo that was working for you.
