Xbox live connection dropping

I recently had my xbox 360 connected wirelessly to a Linksys WRT54GS and my connection worked perfect with a little lag here and there. Then my connection just got horrible and i started getting connection interrupted every game (Call of duty 4 & 5) and returned to the lobby. After i search for a game i get put back into the same game 75% of the time with my score restarted. This got to be very annoying and after looking for a solution and being unsuccessful i decided to buy a new router. My new router is a Linksys WRT160N (version 2 if it matters) and the problem still exists! My ISP has monitored my connection and said that every thing is working correctly. Please help me solve this!

Re: Xbox live connection dropping

Hi and welcome to TSF.
It may help to open the ports. Here are guides on how to do so.

Re: Xbox live connection dropping

Hi, thank you.
I tried forwarding the ports you suggested (exluding the Call of Duty 4 one because it isnt related to the xbox live servers) and I dont think it worked. My NAT is still moderate and my connection is still dropping. Please Help!

Re: Xbox live connection dropping

What is the make and model of your modem? (The device that connects to the WAN or Internet port of the WRT160N.)
