Re: help?

your dxdiag says you only have 1300mb page file.

also I think it just might have to do with the low amount of ram. you only have 512mb of ram

this program should free up Ram - Free Ram Xp

Re: help?

If the page file is low, increase its size.

Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced tab > Performance Settings button > Advanced tab > Virtual Memory Change button. Click 'Custom size' and enter 4096 in the Initial and Maximum boxes. Click the Set button, then OK to close the windows. Reboot to complete.

512mb RAM is very low for XP. If Mcninjaguy's link doesn't help, install another 512mb or preferably 1gb to bring XP's performance up to an acceptable level.

Re: help?

No, not a new copy of XP. Your computer only has 512mb RAM (memory). Increasing this to 1gb or higher will improve things. To do this, you need to buy a new stick of RAM and insert it into one of the RAM slots on your motherboard.
