Hey guys

i had a system crash recently and had to reinstall os, got every thing work fine apart from Dawn of War 2 =(

when i try to log into Live in-game it tries to download my profile then give this error:

cant connect to live. you may be attempting to connecting with an icompatibale network card. make sure you drivers are up to date and try again

as far as i know my drivers are up-to-date

i am using a Belkin G USB Network Adapter, this adapter work prior to the crash and it works with all my other internet programs. i am also using a 1394 net adapter and a broadcom NetXtreme 57xx controller but as far as i know these are not in use by DoW 2

Is you network otherwise working? Just playing up with LIVE?

Im pretty new to this Windows Live, Steam etc... having only installed DOW2 myself recently.

But from what I have read you may have lost your LIVE creditials in the crash and subsequent re-install.

Have a try opening a new account and see if that works.

I agree with you that those items should not effect your ablity to play DOW 2
