Nasty Lag while playing WoW - wireless issue?
Hey guys, since I bought my new computer that runs vista 64bit, I have been having some serious lag issues while playing my online game WoW. Basically, I have no idea whether its the wireless card in my computer that has problems, or if its the signal or whatever coming from the router that's not good, or maybe even the modem is going bad or something.
Basically what happens while I'm playing is that everything will be fine, but then everyone will start running in place and I won't be able to cast anything for about 3-4 seconds, then it unfreezes and starts working again. As a raider, this has killed me, and on fights like Thaddius, my entire raid.... Also, my modem and router are connected to another computer in the house, would moving them to this computer possibly solve the issue I'm having? So I would have like a direct connection to the internet instead of getting it through the signal it sends? I appreciate any help on the matter guys! |
