Ventrilo Help

I didnt know what forum to post this in, but if its in the wrong forum please move it.

Whenever I try to contact the server I go to on vent, it always sticks at Contacting Server

I have the information right, so whats wrong?

Hi, this can be a problem with a router or a firewall.

For a router, you need to set the port forwrding usually. This is a good site to look at for help http://portforward.com/

If you have a firewall you may have to open the port, or allow the program (depends on the firewall).

This is just a few areas to look into. Please let us know the results and if you need any more help.

Also I have a friend who I believe had the same issue with the port forward from the router and all firewalls off, and if you google it, there are a lot of people with this problen. I am still working on a solutin so any input would nice (from anyone with any ideas)
