counter strike system crash

hey im getting the same error everyday when i play counterstrike. After an hour or 2 of play my windows systems seem to crash cuz i lose internet connection but it disconnects programs minutes apart. When i hit ctrl alt del to see if a program crash is causing the problem i get and error that says aplication failed to initialize properly (0xc0000017). The only option given is an ok button. When i restart my laptop it fixes itself but happens again when i play counterstrike. This started happening after an update the game had a few days ago. I scanned for the usual virus and spyware but found nutting. Any help would be great cuz im completely lost i reinstalled the game and everything but the problem continues.

thats whats happening to me :( but i play css instead and it happens like every 5-10 mins

have you tried port forwarding the game?

just pick your router from the list and the game after then following the instructions

Is your computer getting hot? Overheating, or a lack of a sufficient power source to handle prolonged gaming may cause problems similar to which you describe.

Also, you should play on secure servers, as there is the potential for client crashes on insecure servers due to someone hacking or cheating.

Can you please post a summary of the hardware in your computer?

Are you playing Counter-Strike, or the more demanding Counter-Strike: Source?
