Halo update problem

I have the weirdest problem with halo pc combat evolved multi player. When ever i try to join internet servers i click internet and it says checking for updates but just stays there I have used it before and I know this isn't right even for the first time on this computer running halo I know it usually takes a short while longer than it usually does so just tell me if you know whats wrong, please and thank you for reading this or...what ever

Hi m8,

If you go to. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo, then run the haloupdate exe it should update from there. Also check windows firewall is turned off, If your using another firewall check that its allowed to access the internet.
