DNS Test Failed

My family and I moved to Atlanta a few days ago, and tonight I tried to connect to Xbox Live on my new Xbox 360 that I bought earlier today. I already had a harddrive with a gamertag and everything on it, so I put that HD on my new xbox and tried to connect to xbox live, but the DNS failed. The IP was confirmed and everything, but the DNS failed.

My setup: I have ATT Fast Access DSL, I have an ethernet cable plugged into the wall, and the other end is plugged into the internet port of my Linksys WRT54GS router. My computer and my xbox are plugged into 2 of the 1-4 ports of the router. The computer and internet work fine, but i just cant connect to xbl for some reason. I've called xbl support, but they haven't helped....and I'm currently on hold with a Latino man who hasn't helped at all, and it's been 20 minutes and I'm still listen to horrible techno music....

Can anyone help please? If someone will help me get this fixed I would greatly appreciate it and I'd definitely remember this site and tell people about it because this has been such a pain for me today because i just want to play some Unreal Tournament 3!!!

If you need anymore information on the problem I'd be glad to give it to you. Thanks.

Re: DNS Test Failed

Have you tried turning the modem off, wait three minutes and turn it back on? You have to unplug the power supply to the modem to turn it off, and then plug it back in to turn it on. Could be as simple as that.
