Ok, here is the issue. My dad secured the internet and now our PS2 Online does not work... Me and my brother feel like we have tried everything to get it to work, but it still wont. When we enter our IP and stuff in the configuration and test it... we can connect to the internet (first light lights up on the left on the game adapter) but then when it is authenticating the DNS it never works and we get DNS Error 611. Please help us. If you need more info we will try to provide it.

"DNAS Error (-611) A network error has occurred." Please double-check your network connection and/or network configuration"

The problem may be with with your router. The PS2 uses a number of "ports" to access the internet. If you are experiencing any error the first thing you should do is reset all of your network equipment. If you are getting the 611 error, you probably need to create a manual config for your PS2, so it can find your correct DNS servers.

However, any number of reasons "why" (i.e. servers down when trying to connect, possibly your linksys not being supported)...but there are fixes or at least help. My daughter has PS2 and has been thinking of playing online with hers...and we use satellite.
