I enjoy playing the game RuneScape occasionally, however when i try to open it up, i get to the loading screen and internet explorer automatically shuts itself down, the same happens to AOL.

I have the latest Java installed, but when i tried to download it again, incase i hadn't got the latest version, internet explorer shuts itself down again, so is this just something to do with Java/RuneScape?

I also have PC tools internet security, which I have recently only just unblocked the whole of internext explorer/windows explorer and all of the Java files.

I can also enable logging - which i have no idea what this is.

Can anyone help?

I'm pretty sure that it's something to do with Java, as similar games (private servers) such as silabsoft don't work either, they shut down exactly the same as RuneScape, so does anyone have any ideas? thanks a lot.
