First off I want to say in advance I’m sorry if this subject was all ready talked about. I did a search found nothing that helped.
This is my problem. A few days ago i started getting odd lag when I was moving. For instance when I hit W I wouldn’t move then a second later I would. Also it lags when I type a message. It takes a second for each letter to pop up also to send. I know it’s not my connection my ping and loss are fine and it’s rare for me to lose connection from a game. I know it’s not the game because it lags the same way on other games I play. I went through the msconfig bit and every thing I don’t need is off. I have scanned for bugs / viruses. I don’t think its my keyboard because I don’t lag like this out of game and as I type this I have zero lag and my CPU is at 3 to 4% and I’m only using 350megs out of my 2 gig of ram. I have also checked my HD. So what am I missing and how do I check it? Could it be that my CPU is on its way out or my RAM? i hope some one can help I feel that I have gone over everything twice and I still cant fix it. Also it only starts to lag after I have been in game for awhile. About 30 or 40 minutes. All help welcome
