my lag case.
Well , i was once a big MMORPG player , i didnt have lags ussualy .
i didnt have lags in most mmorpgs ive played, ive played a lot . anyway the problem started during the days i played WOW , for some sort of strange reason WoW didnt lag TOO much , but i could have seen some sort of changes. Now, even MAPLE STORY AND RUNESCAP lag like hell for me ! RUNESCAPE! oh , and my internet works fine , and each non online game as well . spec time ! OS -XP SP2 video card - RAEDON 9200 Network adapter - Realtek RTL8139 family PCI fast Ethernet NIC sound -Realtek AC'97 audio 760 MB ram ( i think ) Help whould be appreciated . |

Defragment the hard drive that the game is installed on, virus/spyware scan (the usual maintainance) and reboot your router and modem every couple of days (there should be a reset button on them, unplugging isn't necessarily the same as resetting). If that doesn't help, try bypassing the router altogether, and plugging directly into your modem.
