Other then making sure you have the latest video drivers and that sort you could traceroute to see if it's the path lagging you. Especially since you are not having an issue in WOW. Is this happening on one particular server? You will need the server IP to use traceroute. This could help determine if it's your computer or the connection to the gaming server.
On xp: Hold windows key and press "r" type cmd and hit enter type tracert and the server IP. For example: This is the traceroute to one of the servers I frequent for CS:Source. C:\>tracert 74.86.13.167 Tracing route to siggaming.com [74.86.13.167] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.1 2 * * * Request timed out. 3 49 ms 48 ms 49 ms albq-dsl-gw15-207.albq.qwest.net [67.42.200.207] 4 49 ms 49 ms 48 ms albq-agw1.inet.qwest.net [71.222.248.113] 5 48 ms 49 ms 48 ms abq-core-01.inet.qwest.net [205.171.151.61] 6 72 ms 71 ms 81 ms los-core-02.inet.qwest.net [67.14.22.18] 7 71 ms 71 ms 71 ms lap-brdr-01.inet.qwest.net [205.171.32.14] 8 75 ms 72 ms 74 ms 205.171.1.14 9 95 ms 93 ms 94 ms cr1-tengig0-7-5-0.Dallas.savvis.net [204.70.200. 170] 10 * 93 ms 93 ms pr2-ge-4-0-0.DallasEquinix.savvis.net [204.70.20 0.169] 11 93 ms 92 ms 93 ms te1-1.cer02.dal01.dallas-datacenter.com [208.175 .175.10] 12 94 ms 92 ms 92 ms po2.dar02.dal01.dallas-datacenter.com [66.228.11 8.207] 13 120 ms 93 ms 93 ms po54.fcr02.dal01.dallas-datacenter.com [66.228.1 18.174] 14 93 ms 93 ms 93 ms siggaming.com [74.86.13.167] Trace complete. |

hmm... Just on scrim huh? Pub servers your fine? You have played on different servers for a scrim and same lagout happens? Since your fine on pub I would assume it's the server setup or path to the server for your scrim... ??
Can you get the ip of a recent server you have played on the lagged you out? Then follow tracert functions in earlier post? |
