Sudden Strike Forever Wireless Config
Hi,
I play the above game via my old thompson adsl modem. In 2003 I bought a new belikin access point with zoom adsl moden to have a wireless network in the house. The Network is fine all members can access the internet and play several online games COD for example. However the above game sudden strike forever a number of ports have to be opened (and based on faq within the game can be tricky , buy certainly possible) , I would like to have two PC's from my wireless network join an online game but alas I can't even get one to work. Should the ports be opened on the access point or adsl modem or both , and should I be do something with the dmz. I have tried several times to configure without success. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Re: Sudden Strike Forever Wireless Config
if you were connected directly to the modem you wouldnt have a problem.the ports need to be forwarded on the router.dmz will open all ports, but only to one computer.

Re: Sudden Strike Forever Wireless Config
Thanks Pharoah for the confirmation,
So is it possible to purchase other network devices that would allow more than one PC in a home network to connect to an online game ? |
