Hey, Im not too good with computers in the gaming industry, altough i play mmorpgs and mmofps ALOT and all of a sudden i have a problem :( Well i had a problem with speed but thats now fixed :) (too much dust in computer fan!) but thts now clean but a problem thats still here :(
I play 2 online games at the momment "Soldier Front" (Very low specs to play) and Herrcot (kinda high) and heres what happens Its runs smooth but every second it pauses for a very small mommont but this is really annoying specially trying to aim on Soldier Front -_- and i noticed this even happening with Flash! (i noticed while on youtube) Here my specs: Pentium 4 1.8 Ghgz 256Mb Ram and if this helps Im wireless. plzz help cos its really annoying! I havnt had this for ever though, kinda rcent |

I think its your RAM. You meet the minimum requirement for Soldier Front, which means ANY additional processes puts you over, and you're probably running at least 20 processes (I'm running 54 right now). Also, even if you have more than enough RAM, using a high percentage of your RAM or CPU can cause problems in games.

How long has it been going on? Every couple weeks my internet just slows down to a crawl for a few days. If everything that involves the internet is going slow, but everything else is going fine it could be your internet. Try playing any singleplayer game with about the same requirements as Soldier Front or Herrcot and compare the performance.
