Counterstrike freezes
my connection has always been bad
my fps never stays the same, sometimes it'll go up to 80 but drop down right away and sometimes it'll be at 12 and sometimes 50...what really annoys me is when i get theses 2-3 second freezes, some one said it was called lag spikes but im not sure, but if theres a way to get rid of them that would be most appreciated also, with cs, ive been playing for a while now, like maybe 2 years, and i still suck, if anyone could help me out, or even just give me some helpful settings that would be good |

Re: Counterstrike freezes
If you have a low spec computer the FPS might go down when there are alot of activity going on in game or people throwing smoke grenades. Some times it could be very high because you might be standing still or staring at a wall.
The mouse problem might be cause by a bad mouse. I used have one of those cheap Microsoft basic optical mouses and it shot up and starts spinning in CS all the time. You get what you pay for ![]() |

Re: Counterstrike freezes
How much do you know about computers?
If you just upgrade the RAM. Also if your graphics card isn't up to scratch it can and WILL cause graphics lag. It could also be being caused by a bad ISP? (But your ping seems to be fine so I doubt it) CS - practice makes perfect. Just keep playing. |
