Unable to host in Warcraft III
I've been searching day after day to find a solution to my problem.
*I run through a NetGear WGR614v7 Router *I HAVE all the needed ports forwarded *All the ports are forwarded correctly to TCP and UDP *ALL my firewalls are off *The Static IP I'm forwarding to is correct and within the LAN range I have NO clue what I'm doing wrong. It worked for a few days and then just abruptly stopped. I'm at whit's end. I've been frantically searching sites and asking people and I have no answer. I've used ShieldsUP to scan the port, so I know people aren't just lying to me. I've looked through my router settings over and over, and still nothing. Please, PLEASE help me out. Any help at all would be very greatly appreciated. Thanks, Watari |

Re: Unable to host in Warcraft III
The problem is most likely a router setting, like an unchecked checkbox that says "enable hosting." I know it's possible to log into your router and do stuff, because my dad has logged into his router and disabled my IP address.
My friend has your problem, and the router is the only link in the chain that could be causing it. All his computer network settings, FT install file, and stuff are all the same, and I don't see how it could be his wiring or service provider. If it were the wiring, his internet connection would have low or no connectivity, not a random lack of a single feature, and I don't know how Comcast Business Class could disable hosting rights.
