BF2 online port problems
For reasons I havnt figuered out yet when ever i have ever tryed to find a game on the BF browser I cant find a server with a ping less than 150 and am always pnkbsted with the message Communication Service Failure. I have been in contact with a EA representative and as of yet the only problem left that could be causing this is that one of the many ports the game uses are being blocked. I disable my firewall and shut down my AV from msconfig so these arent the problems. Many online forums say that my ISP (verizon DSL) blocks inbnd port 80, which is one of the ports the game uses. But what i dont understand is that my friend that ives a few doors down uses the same ISP and does not have any problem using the BF browser or game online. ANY SUGGESTIONS. AND is it true that verizon can submit a ticket to open port 80.?
