Opposing Force Freeze Up-HELP!!
I can't believe this. This game has stopped at the exact same place, in the chapter called Vicarious Reality on an elevator, 3 times now, trying 3 different games!
I first tried two different versions downloaded from the net. They both froze up on the elevator. So, this time I bought the game download from Steam and it worked great right up to the same spot as the other two, the elevator. I can't go forward or back but all other motion is fine. Jumping and left and right but no forward or back. I can't get off the elevator. Ok-I have an AMD 64 Athlon 3000-1 gig of ram and 350 hd.-I have just updated the video drivers and the chipset drivers. I have ATI Radeon 9600 . All other games work fine and I run nothing in the background while playing. Does anybody have any idea what the cause is and how to fix this. I have restarted this game over 3 times now and am half way through it. Great game like the rest of the Half Life series. Does anyone know any way to skip over this part? Any help would really be great-thanks |
