[SOLVED] Unable to sign into 360!

Ok so the other day the comcast guy came and gave us a new router because our old belkin broke. Well the guy fixed all of our internet on our computers. So on my xbox it says the connection is fine. i tested it many times. so i go back to sign in and and it says i am signed into mesanger then it says so many friends are online. well the little xbox with the circle going around it stays on the market place, xobox live, and game screen. Then the circle goes away and signs me off. So i try again then it says my DNS failed the test. so i try the test again then it says my IP failed. So i try 1 more time and it says i have perfect connection. so i try to sign in and it does the same thing over and over again

. It's making me really really mad. I havent been able to play for a month now. PLease can anybody help me?

Can you tell me what model of Linksys it is? Some work and some don't.

well what i just found out is pretty weird. well if i just put in a game and it goes strait to the game xbox live works. but i cant view market place or any places like that without it disconnecting on me

Go to your linksys page where you open ports and stuff, and look at the top. It should say the brand. Or look around there.

Ok thanks guys. I figured it out. The problem was that the connection strait from the router was too weak so it wouldn't sign me in. So now all I have to do is go out and buy a wireless adapter!

You're much better off with a wired connection.
