Steam account problem
I bought Half Life 2 about two years ago and had no problems with it. Since then changed to a new computer and needed to reinstall it. I found I could not update let alone play any of the games, this is the same account I had used previously to register the game with.

Re: Steam account problem
It's a Dell laptop with Xp, It should have the ability to play the game just fine, but I can't get the Steam account to recognize that I bought the game. When I try to download the files necessary to play, it refers me to buy a new copy.
