Hello.
I thought id start D2 LoD with my friends again, just to play in spare time. Anyway, back when i last played was couple of years ago, and since that i got new computer and new internet. Lemee tell you first, that yes my computer got the hardware to play Diablo. (Plays Crysis in High details perfect ;]) Anyway, the Battle.net is SO SCREWED now. Everything works fine than that game. (Msn, TS, WoW, Steam, Internet etc). After a "battle" of trying to get logged in, then after about 10-15mins of gameplay, my whole net shuts down. I loose everything. TS, Msn, and i get DC. And after 1-2mins its back up. And like i mention, i "battle" to get logged in. Mostly it wont log in, cuz it stops at "Checking Versions". But WHEN i actually do get in, and i get to character screen, i get the long message telling that "You either arent on the net or make sure port 6112 is open". Still the net works fine even tho it wont connect. And yes, port 6112 is open btw. My friend got same problem (the one who i was gonna start game with). Any solutions to this? Im thinking that maybe my router is blocking it? If any knows about this and got some answers, please post. |

Re: Diablo 2 LoD Net Issues
Diablo II
Blizzard TCP Ports 6112-6119,4000 UDP Ports 6112-6119 I googled Diablo II ports and this came up a few links down the page. Try opening up the rest of the ports listed and see if it helps you out. We went through the same trouble when we switched ISP's and got new hardware. It didn't take long to figure out what the point of port forwarding was. |
