[SOLVED] Battlefield 2 "No packet" disconnect
Hi, I'm trying to play battlefield 2 on the net on a 20mbit/ps adsl2 connection getting about 8mbit/ps but i don't mind it plays smooth anyway Every time i join a server, after about 1 minute i get a punk buster error saying:"The user [name] has been disconnected due to: no packet transfer" or something like that but all i want to do is play on the net: for my system specs click the "my system" button on my profile if you need them, btw the mobo has built in 10/100 built in Lan i use anyway, i don't overclock or anything so thats safe, but i would just freeze if that happens, i try to join a low ping server but nothing works, I've tried everything except hosting, but thats not good for me...i never get players :-(, anyway please help me, i just wanna play with real people, oh BTW i use voip if that matters and i get around 82 fps, 60 with the limiter and my ping i usually around 70 for the server i usually go on, and i have tried it on others. HELP!

Re: Battlefield 2 "No packet" disconnect
Hello, Welcome to TSF.
Two things you'll be asked to do with punkbuster kicks I might as well get them out of the way. 1. Try updating PB manually 2. Check your firewall and Anti Virus to make sure they're not blocking either PB or Battlefield. |
