Ventrilo Problems

Hey all,

My Vent client has been doing this thing lately where I can log into a server, and click on a channel, but it doesn't do anything. The window doesn't change at all. Friends say they see me in the channel but I can't hear them through Vent and it doesn't show me as being in the channel - I just stay in the default entry channel. It's almost as though the Vent window just freezes up. I've tried restarting, re-installing, re-downloading, changing servers...nothing works. And the server/channel isn't full either, I've tested it with both empty. The weird thing is it only does it sometimes; other days it works fine and I can hear as usual. Any help would be greatly appreciated, it's pissing the hell out of me and causing problems.
