[SOLVED] DSL, Speedstream 5200...cant host

im trying to host games on the game warcraft 3. i have succesfully fixed the non hosting problem on a different computer that used a linksys router...but now i am unable to do the same thing on my computer with a SpeedStream 5200. i have gotten into the router, and allowed port 6112. it doesnt work. ive tried every combination of tcp, udp..etc. ive tried forwarding the port to both my ip address and to the router...nothing works.

people have mentioned static ip addresses before but A. i dont know how to do that and B. i dont know if that even works.

has anyone fixed this problem with speedstream? i really want to host wc3 games..

If you use the firewall in the router then you should disable the one in Windows as their conflict.
