Question Internal/External IP conflicts [RESOLVED]

I play a game or two on GameSpy Arcade, or at least I did. A while back, I downloaded Agnitum Firewall and got aggravated because it kept blocking everything, so I deleted it. The only problem is, I think that it modified something and I'm not exactly sure what it did. Before, I could play games on GameSpy just fine, but since trying after deleting that firewall, I keep getting an error message that my Internal and External IPs are different and I can't connect to anything else to play a game. I read somewhere else that it might be the DSL router, but I remember that it worked just fine before. I'm pretty sure it only started after I got that stupid firewall.

Anyway, thanks for your time.

thats a bad thing about some of those software firewalls.when you get rid of them sometimes it doesnt fully undo the changes it makes.is your system restore on if so try to restore to a date earlier than agnitum was installed.

Solved

I found the problem. Turns out it was with my router after all, but I found a way to open the ports I needed to play my games, so I'm good after all. Thanks for replying though.

It's good practice to only run ONE firewall on a system. If your router includes one, and most do, then don't install one on the connected PC.
