Question - Hammer editor: Create trigger with a trigger
Hi there!
I'm kinda new to scripting, but I know the basics. This is my problem: I've got a trigger placed in my map, that starts off (so it isn't there), but I want, when I walk through an other trigger, that it IS there, so it can be 'used' if you know what I mean ![]() Could anyone help me out? Thanks! |

Re: Question - Hammer editor: Create trigger with a trigger
Hi Tristanr and welcome to TSF,
If i understand you correctly you want two triggers. TriggerB is disabled when you first play the level. But you want TriggerA to Enable TriggerB when the player walks through A. To do this in triggerA go to the Output tab and Press add. Then in the First dropdown box select "On Trigger" > TriggerB (or name of that "off" trigger) > Enable In TriggerB properties you need to make sure that it Starts Disabled.

Thank you very much! I actually did it the same way before, only my output on the actvated trigger didn't work, so I thought the problem was with the trigger and not the output. But thanks a lot anyway for you help! =D
