modded maps lagg/ jerk

ok all i mod tons of maps on bf1942 now all of a sudden i got my internet upgraded thats when it start to do this well anyways when i transfer my modded maps over to my server were i run from home also when i start modded map and log onto my server i get very bad lag the tanks choppers they jerk back and forth i wonder if its my internet i never had this problem before until i updated my internet

Does this happen for all servers? It could be server lag, try joining a less populated server.

no it just happens to the maps that i just finish modding i done about 7 to 10 maps transfer them to my server and run them when i log on my server to play very bad lag this problem never happen to me before

i log onto any other server no problem

the weird part about it is that i have som eold maps i modded a while back they run fine on my server its the new maps i modd recently im thinking it can be my inter net cause i gotten it upgraded heres what i gotten recently

If Optimum ultra is your internet, I don't think that is why.
You got a download rate of 101 mbs with that...:P. I'm pretty sure that is the fastest ISP around, well in my area I'm pretty sure.

Whats the system specs?I don't think its your internet sounds like your server doesn't meet the requirements. And on other servers, that server(computer) does so it doesn't lag.

It's be hard to find a computer that can't run BF1942, but you should still check the game's minimum specs.

the server has 8 gigs ram running off of windows server 2003 2 processors Xeons cpu's 2.8 definitly has the specs to run it

its not the pc cause i try another 1 it does the same thing it lags my modded maps that i just made but i modded spme maps a while back no problem runs fine on my server no lag at all

It could be that both your pc's don't meet the requirements...or maybe your parts overheat, how often do you clean the server/computer?

i just built it so i keep my eye on the dust so i just checked it its ok

the thing is that it started doing this when i upgrade my internet yo ultra when i had the boost everything was fine

they meet the reqirements cause my server pc i can load bf1942 on it and play it

I have boost :), go to http://www.speedtest.net/ and please post your results. Maybe there is a problem with your modem and maybe need a tech to come to your house.

i had problems with the ultra the day i got it hooked up lol now i was better off with my boost the guys been out lots of time running new wire from the pole outside to my housechange all splinters lol and done other stuff

dont forget i called optimum support thr guy told me it was my router so i go by a new router problem still exsist also i have it hook up to a router linksys brand new router i have total of 6 pcs hook up i never had this problem with tha boost what ever u do keep boost

Well....that is still faster than boost so I don't see how it is a connection error. My speed test results are 30mb/5mb. Can you please upload your full specs?, maybe a part has been damaged. For example maybe your ram burned like in my old computer

Edit: Whats your firewall? It could be that, I remember I called a tech from optimum and he said turn off Vista firewall and everything worked wonder full :).

Depending on your software firewall, however, it could still be causing problems.

well i called optimum and ask y am i NOT getting my right readings on the speed test so they took some diag and sais theres a problem with the internet at the poles lol i said did u se ehow many times they been out here she said yes anyways hopefully they come out tuesday and fix it
