Starcraft maps help.

Hello, I recently reinstalled Starcraft(Expansion) due to difficulties. Now, I came back to Starcraft and began map making. Ever since I reinstalled Starcraft, I have problems getting my maps to the game.

Before (IN GAME), I had a lot of maps in my Starcraft folder. Now, there are no maps. I successfully saved my maps into the Starcraft map folder but I do not see the map when I am trying to load it..(IN GAME). I reinstalled SCMdraft 2 but the problem is still occuring. I do not know what I need to do.

By the way, when I go to the Starcraft folder on my "Computer" in the "Program Files", I see all the old maps that i've dled from the past.

If you tell me what the problem is and what I need to do, that would be great.

What is SCMDraft 2? Are you aware of the StarCraft Campaign Editor?
Try running the editor/game in compatibility mode for XP SP2 or lower, and as Administrator.

make sure the .file names match the playable maps.

Also have you tried putting the maps in a folder you know to be accessible such as ladder?

They are in the StarCraft installation folder, there is a folder called Maps, make sure the files are either .scm or .scx

SCMDraft 2 is a advanced version of the regular starcraft editor. I believe it has more triggers than the original and also, regular SC editor cannot stack buildings on top of each other or move a nexus/hatchery/command center right or on top of the minerals. You can also make ground "squared" so instead of a cliff on water it could be just a straight line of dirt and a straight line of water.

Are you asking how to retrieve your lost maps? That's easy, if you saved your maps before uninstalling they should be in C:/Program files/Starcraft/Maps/Downloads.
Were did you reinstall starcraft too?If you have the maps but are not in game when you try to host a game, your games are not in the C:\Program files\starcraft\maps
