[SOLVED] Looking for a game thats like

Oblivion... as in the stealing, the going into other peoples houses.. the picking up anything ... but in military mode. Ive heard ArmA 2 is like that but i dont know...
mayby like fallout 3 but without the freaky things and without the sense of desperation LOL

also is there a game like oblivion... as it the stealing part. but with out the rest.

i really love oblivion but it too much at a time... so much to deal with.

So you want a military stealth/theft RPG? Closest thing I can think of would be playing a stealth character in Fallout 3.

Have you tried Thief 2? It's an old game, but it sounds like what you want, kind of.

Hey, ive heard of theif 2 and 3 and im thinking of getting one of those... or mayby w8 for theif 4 (heard its comming out soon). Which do u recommend?

fallout 3 was fun and awesome but i dont like the feeling that you have to fight against superpowerfull beings. its to creepy... lol im being a real pu**y lol.

i think i might get theif...

You could always try Morrowind instead of Oblivion, it's the one which comes before it in the Elder Scroll Series. It's an older game so the graphics are a bit outdated, but you can pick it up fairly cheap these days because of how old it is. It doesn't use the same lockpicking interface, but you could always just get it and do the Theives Guild Quests only. I don't know of any games which are "stealing" stuff only. And who knows, if you get board of looting and "breaking and entering" one day you can go on and do the other Guild Quests :)

Yeah I think the Thief series is your best bet. There really aren't many games where you only steal stuff..

lol, i agree with only steal stuff...
is theif super choicy. is it um... were you have a huge amount of choices or is it a one way only game?

I've heard Thief 2 was a very non-linear game where the levels were very sprawling with multiple ways to accomplish objectives. I think the third game did away with non-linear levels though.

if you like Theft and stealth, you will sure like it, it's not RPG though
