Anyone know of a "clean" explore/adventure game?

I bought and played portal and liked it, but have been looking for a nice adventure type game that doesn't require any online play just because of all the bad language.
(my younger siblings would be playing and preferable I'd like a "T, E+10, or E game)
I've seen stuff like oblivin, but don't want a game set in "magic/alien/that kind of thing" environment.
Any suggestions?

And we've tryed out demos of different games and like games that have a free play/roam mode. (lego star wars, atv vs mx unleashed. LOL off topic games)

Burnout Paradise, there is lots of crashes but the game is just for fun
Disney's Cars the Game
Bee Movie the Game
Elements (a great puzzle game that needs lots of thinking)
Braid (another genius puzzle platform game) amazing one
Sam & Max
The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition

(I think I saw a video of Burnout Paradise - it looked interesting)
Also I was looking for a source mod that is less violent, like that soccer mod for source and the up-coming snowball fight mod!
I know of portal prelude, but portal was hard enough and I think it would be too hard.
Any suggestions about something source?
