LOTR Online / POTBS / EVE?

Ive been playing games such as COD2, Battlefield2/Series, CS:S on and off for the past year...

Once WOW came out, I played that but only got to lvl 40ish because I ddidn't have time to grind on for hours and hours...Since my laptop doesn't game so well (Sony Vaio/Core2 Duo 2.26/3GigRam/Radion 4300 Series) Im unable to really enjoy 1st person shooters like the New COD's and such...

I'm kind-of looking for an MM) game that's fairly casual as I dont have 8 hours a day to play. Has anybody played any of the above games? or have any other games that would be neat?

Please and Thanks for the help!

LOTRO is pretty good. You don't have to grind as much at all. Some of the quests are repetitive, but the game culture as a whole is a lot more laid-back than WoW. The speed of leveling up is fairly natural, you just have to keep doing quests. Apparently once you get to level 60 (current level cap) you have to grind reputation to get the really top-notch items, but up until that point there isn't a ton of that.

Eve is one of those games where the missions are long because of huge distances to travel. I never really heard good review for Pirates of the burning sea.

I think you should go with LOTRO too.

I play EVE its good to play if you have a 2-4hrs a day to spare. Well sometimes you dont need to be on even that long. The only grinding there is to be done is to wait for your character to learn the skill books.

EVE is fun, has mature and helpful players and free expansions. I would choose EVE.

Re: LOTR Online / POTBS / EVE?

I found that I got annoyed of EVE well because of the long travel times but it has the most depth. I have also played LOTRO online and I got bored of the bug guts collecting.

My opinion is that MMO's are not for me but for others it is never ending game full of wonder.
