So bored.. Need new game!

So, I haven't been on here in so long, but....

I need a new game, I'm looking for a great computer game but I can swing toward a xbox360 game if needed.

What I'm not looking for:

Any Call of Duty game
Counterstrike: Source
Any of the Elder Scrolls Games
Fallout 3
HL2
Gears of war

I am looking for any great shooter or RPG

I really loved the Campaign of The CoD games, But the Perks ruined online play in that series.
Fallout 3 Captured me, One of the greatest games of all time, Too bad it was too short :( I have played all the DLC.
MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 7

How about Left 4 Dead/2 and Team Fortress 2? PC versions are recommended for the full experience.

Ok, well Prototype is a very good game.
So is Assassins creed and mirrors edge.
Theres 3 to ponder over.
I'm not sure about their compatability with windows 7 though :S

Left 4 Dead is fun, but gets repetetive after a while. Neverwinter Nights 2 is a great RPG. I'm playing it on Windows 7, though I had to do a tiny bit of tinkering to get it to work.

You didn't say battlefield. So I guess you wouldn't mind I recommend any of the bf titles?
2142,2, 1943, bad company 2? I am not sure if they work on 7, I assume the newer ones do.

Yeah, the battlefield games are sweet, I would recommend any of them.

Have you played Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising?
Awesome tatical game. Just awesome.

It came out October 7th here in Canada.

If you liked Fallout 3, then Stalker might be a good game for you. Also Crysis and Assassin's Creed. I know Crysis works with the 7 RC but I'm not sure about Stalker or AC.

stalker shadow of Chernobyl doesn't work too well with the RC but it works fine with the retail copy of windows 7.

Wait for Assassin's Creed 2 and from what I heard is going to be delayed for the PC, not the 360 and PS3.

I forgot to add the battlefield series to my list. I played all of them.

I played assassins creed, Left 4 Dead(worst game in my collection), I played prototype but didn't really like it, TF2.. Meh, The games oK but I personally think valve ruined it.

Operation Flashpoint (the original).
Alternatively you could try STALKER:SOC. I greatly prefer a modded SOC to Clear Sky.

Can't think of any good new RPG's at the moment aside from the classics.

Maybe Americas army 3. I heard they fix it up a lot. Still I prefer aa2, I wish all the good old servers didn't move to aa3 :(.

I would like to try FEAR2. Ive played Fear and AA3.. AA3 is (or was) Wayyy to glitchy for any game.

I was looking into Dragon Age: Origins but I saw some pictures of it and it has action bars which I don't really like in a Non-Online MMO.

I would give Left 4 Dead, Half Life, and Team Fortress 2 a try, or if your looking for somewhat of a puzzle, give portal a try. But if you were heading towards Left 4 Dead, wait a month till Left 4 Dead 2 comes out.

I think i just love all steam games

Sorry, I currently play WoW. Aion is good but they will not accept my credit card to pay for game time.

I am not looking for any Valve games, If you read the topic you would see that I despise L4D. It is mindless repetition, there is no need to play that game.

Valve isn't just L4D, just to point that out. Anyway, Crysis 2, Battlefield 1943, and Battlefield 3 may work. If you don't want to wait that long, then F.E.A.R. 1/2 and Bioshock would work.
