Do Xbox 360 Controlers Work For Regular Games

Hi,
I am considering buying the Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller For Windows (comes with the wireless receiver) and I was wondering. can you use the controller on regular games that support gamepads? or do they HAVE to be "Games For Windows" certified games?

You should consider buying a wired controller as its less of a hassle but to each our own.

The 360 is pretty trouble free for playing games on the PC. If its a shooter or a platform game you can pretty much expect it to work. Pretty much if you plug in a 360 controller it should already be mapped for the game, same as the 360.

If you want a free one you can get it on Clubbing.com in five days if you get the max points. And if you are a fast typer it hardly takes any time.

Wow, I didn't know Bing did that. Though getting 4500 points in five days seems a bit lofty to me ;)

I can get the 1000 points in like 45 minutes to an hour

Which games did you play on there? The trivia and crossword ones seem pretty time-consuming.

I play chicktionary than use Text Twist to unscamble the words
