Majora's Mask - Missing chest?

For the lone of god I have been searching and cannot find the answer to this. I am in the Snowhead Temple and in the room where there is a double block that you pull out and push(behind the block there was a chest). Now the guide I have been reading say's that it is suppossed to be on the other ledge where there are two pot's that smash into you when you get over. I've gotten over to the ledge and the two pot's smash into me but there is no chest with the stray fairy!!!! When I put the fairy mask on it does glow, but I cannt find it anywhere. Is this a glitch or am i completely missing something?

I've used the same guy's walk through for the Twilight Princess on the Wii and he is very thorough in details.
