Ok, I am going to BUY Counter-Strike Source

I went to the gaming store yesterday at a mall, and there section on PC games was so small. They did not carry any Half-Life games at all. So in other words, there was no Counter-Strike Source. Please list some stores where there is a large selection of both current and past games. Please let me know if this is an inappropriate post.

Also, I have not played games for nearly 7 years, so please excuse me if I don't know that a MOD Counter strike recently became a retail game (very greedy if you ask me).

Are there any rules for posting?

css is kinda old, you would probobly have to do some searching to find it in stores. I know what you mean though most video game stores are dominated by console games

Online gaming is pretty good and I don't have to pay taxes when I buy games off of steam.

I highly recommend buying through Steam, as it's so much cheaper than buying in a store.

Otherwise, any EB Games store should have it.

I agree with this, Just download steam for free and browse for it to purchase it.

:)
Good Luck

Get it off Newegg.com or Steam. But just getting back into gaming with CS:S isn't the best choice of game.

That depends on personal preference. I love CS:S, it has a very steep difficulty curve, (if you can even call it that) especially if you play with other people, but I still enjoy it a lot.

Counter-Strike: Source is about the easiest Counter-Strike game in the franchise (Seemingly anything counts as a headshot).

Re: Ok, I am going to BUY Counter-Strike Source

I want a game that has a lot of people playing online so I don't have to search for servers......if Counter Strike Source is the one...then Im getting it........thanks for all the tips by the way. It does feel weird being interested in a game that is 4 years old, but its what I am going to enjoy, so whatever right. The central attraction to CS:S is that there is such a large volume of people playing it. I play CoD: modern warfare on PS3, but PC gaming is so much better, I will mark my return to the gaming world with Counter Strike Source........then I will move to the Quake 4 games when they come out.........I SERIOUSLY CAN NOT BELIEVE I MSSED 7 years of gaming!!!!!School took my soul out..........btw can anyone enter the Quakecon tournament?....i plan on doing that in 1-2 years......one I get my gaming skills back..........

Again thanks for the recs.....I will be getting CSS this week.

Re: Ok, I am going to BUY Counter-Strike Source

When I first got CSS, I saw millions of empty servers, but when I put filters to filter the empty servers I saw thousands of full servers . Yes, it is still pretty played. I believe 1.6 and condition zero as still quite popular despite their age.
