Ok, I am going to BUY Counter-Strike Source
I went to the gaming store yesterday at a mall, and there section on PC games was so small. They did not carry any Half-Life games at all. So in other words, there was no Counter-Strike Source. Please list some stores where there is a large selection of both current and past games. Please let me know if this is an inappropriate post.
Also, I have not played games for nearly 7 years, so please excuse me if I don't know that a MOD Counter strike recently became a retail game (very greedy if you ask me). Are there any rules for posting? |

Re: Ok, I am going to BUY Counter-Strike Source
css is kinda old, you would probobly have to do some searching to find it in stores. I know what you mean though most video game stores are dominated by console games

Re: Ok, I am going to BUY Counter-Strike Source
I highly recommend buying through Steam, as it's so much cheaper than buying in a store.
Otherwise, any EB Games store should have it.

Re: Ok, I am going to BUY Counter-Strike Source
I got my copy of css off ebay and it was cheaper than steam w/ shipping. You can try ebay but becareful who you buy from, some are good some are bad.

That depends on personal preference. I love CS:S, it has a very steep difficulty curve, (if you can even call it that) especially if you play with other people, but I still enjoy it a lot.

Re: Ok, I am going to BUY Counter-Strike Source
I want a game that has a lot of people playing online so I don't have to search for servers......if Counter Strike Source is the one...then Im getting it........thanks for all the tips by the way. It does feel weird being interested in a game that is 4 years old, but its what I am going to enjoy, so whatever right. The central attraction to CS:S is that there is such a large volume of people playing it. I play CoD: modern warfare on PS3, but PC gaming is so much better, I will mark my return to the gaming world with Counter Strike Source........then I will move to the Quake 4 games when they come out.........I SERIOUSLY CAN NOT BELIEVE I MSSED 7 years of gaming!!!!!School took my soul out..........btw can anyone enter the Quakecon tournament?....i plan on doing that in 1-2 years......one I get my gaming skills back..........
Again thanks for the recs.....I will be getting CSS this week. |

Re: Ok, I am going to BUY Counter-Strike Source
When I first got CSS, I saw millions of empty servers, but when I put filters to filter the empty servers I saw thousands of full servers
. Yes, it is still pretty played. I believe 1.6 and condition zero as still quite popular despite their age.
