Need a multiplayer game

I want a game off Steam that is good on single player but has really great multiplayer. I have L4D already (but on Xbox 360, I am getting L4D2 on PC)

TF2 is a lot of fun. But its muiltiplayer only, can't think of a great one thats both. Maybe Red Faction: Guerilla, but I havn't played that yet.

Does it have to be an FPS? You can get Titan Quest from Steam, it's a great game and should keep you occupied for a long time.

I know you asked for MP, but get fallout 3 it is a awesome single player game. A good multiplayer game is counter strike.
What type of genre are you looking for?
