Assasin's Creed: Bloodlines

This game will be for the PSP and starts right after the end of AC1, seems to me like they really tried to deliver the experience on the small screen as much as they could, the combat looks Prince of Persia style but the AI looks terrible.

Re: Assasin's Creed: Bloodlines

I will stay clear of games made for the PC and consoles. Mostly because it is impossible taking a nice big game and trying to get it on a small screen.

I will play the original Assassin's creed on the PC but I'm not a fan of portable systems.

Lets be honest, the PSP only has a limited amount of graphics hardware to run good games, so you'll never get games to look amazing on it...

Games like LocoRoco can be successful because of its art style. Patapon was great and Killzone: Liberation played well. God of War: Chains of Olympus is very good. I doubt any open world games can handle well on the PSP.

Re: Assasin's Creed: Bloodlines

From what I heard they tok God of war and revamped it to make it so it would run and be lots of fun on the PSP. I can see them doing the same to Assassin's creed. Once you have played the console version you really don't want to play a rip off version.

Re: Assasin's Creed: Bloodlines

I've never really bothered with portable stuff, I loved Assassin's Creed for PC, even if it could be frustrating at times, especially near the end where you're expected to fight off every bad guy in the Holy Land by yourself.

But I've never bought any sort of portable gaming thingy, not even a gameboy back when I was litte. lol. I've just never really got why it's appealing to play games through tiny strained squinto vision. I just prefer to play games at home on my computer. =)

Re: Assasin's Creed: Bloodlines

if I want to play portable games, I have Nokia N-gage, and that is enough, maybe the device is a bit old, but it has great games to entertain you when you're on the road
Asphalt urban GT 2, Sonic, Fifa, Red Faction, etc...
why bother and get a PSP?

I don't know why everyone is saying you have to strain and squint to see the screen, it's pretty big and everything fits nicely, no squinting involved.

GoSuNi, the GTA games on the PSP are open world, and they are excellent.

Re: Assasin's Creed: Bloodlines

Good point dwalk1989, those two do look good on the psp surprisingly, so there are a few exceptions.
