Best computer games of all time

I was thinking that we should make a list of all the best games. I know there are tons of lists out there already but we should make one.

favorite game of all time is counter strike, and counterstrike source. i've prob been playing this for about 9 years.
other than i used to play world of warcraft quite a bit, but now i'm kinda done with it.

The original sonic the hedgehog was a fantastic game. And still is. The 2D versions beat the new 3D ones every time.

The Gran Turismo series is great too, the second and fourth ones stand out for me. Nothing came close for realism when they were released. Cant wait for GT5

That's a console game. I don't believe 2D is better than 3D in my book. I like Half-Life 2

Oh yeah, sorry, forgot Gran Turismo was console.

Sonic the Hedgehog is on PC though.

I think it depends what the game is with 3D. 3D games are great, I just dont think it really suits a game like Sonic.

I liked the original sims game too. Completely out-of-the-box fun and really addictive.

first great first person shooter i ever got addicted too on pc was Delta Force: land warrior. i remember spending hours upon hours playing this game like 10-15 years ago.

Oh yes, SimCity 3000. Started playing that in elementary school and went well into middle school. I've played that wayyyy more than I ever played 4! XD

The first FPS I played was Medal of Honor Pacific Assualt. That was an awsome game except back than a had a crappy computer and had to have graphics and everything turned down to low.

When I was around 7, Age of Empires was supppper fun. I would still play today...except my AOE2 disks are damaged :(, my AOE1 was given to my cousin who is another part of the world and AOE 3 never really interested me. AOE2, in my opinion was the best game ever made even if the graphics aren't great.

Oh man , the only way to play aoe is on an old 9x machine. Just gotta get the whole experience. The graphics are 2d so any pentium 1 or amd k6 can do it.

NFS series (carbon is my fave)
C&C Red Alert: Aftermath (I love this one, especially when playing with friends.)
C&C Generals
Age of Empires (played all version)
Cossacks (I love this one too.)
Starcraft 1
Wolfenstein (great networking game too.)

I'm referring to the original one, the classic wolfenstein. I forgot the exact title of it but it's the one with the beach.

I haven't tried the new one. Have you tried the new one? How was it?

My pc is an antique. It won't run the new Wolfenstein. The trailers for it look pretty good. BJ is back and kicking butt.
