Any RPG's you recommend?

I am getting bored with my current games, I am dying for a good RPG.

I already beat/have
  • Fallout 3, and some DLC
  • Oblivion
  • Morrowind
There are a lot more, I just cant think of them at this time.
I really love Bethesda's games. I was told to try Mass effect but I can't find it anywhere.

edit--

I'm not looking for MMO's. I am currently waiting for Aion.

Re: Any RPG's you recommend?

What do you mean you can't find Mass Effect?

_

I personally suggest:

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Fable

_

I'm not much into Western RPG since I do like Korean MMO

Re: Any RPG's you recommend?

I went to Walmart and BestBuy but I can not find mass effect at either of them. I looked for PC and Xbox, they had neither.

I did beat Fable, I forgot this one.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I heard was good but would I have to get this from amazon or something? How old Is this game?

I tried Last Remnant and I really hated it.

If you have a PlayStation and like old-skool give FF7 a try.

Re: Any RPG's you recommend?

I'm not sure if you can get KOTOR on its own anymore. The boxed set (comes with four other Star Wars games) may still be available. I do know that the sequel is still sold in retail stores, I see it whenever I visit a Target or Walmart store's games section.

If you don't mind online purchases, Mass Effect is available on Steam for $20.

Re: Any RPG's you recommend?

You don't need a credit card, a debit card works just fine.

Try

Dungeon Siege
Titan Quest
Neverwinter Nights (old school but still rocks)

or

FF7 / FF8 in PC if you can find or borrow from a friend.

The Witcher
Mass Effect (keep searching for it, it's one of the best RPGs)
Deus EX 1 & 2
STALKER (more FPS than RPG)
Bioshock (FPS with a tiny bit of RPG)
Fable

Re: Any RPG's you recommend?

The first RPG that really blew my mind was Outcast which was released in 1999, I'd definitely recommend that you try it if you can find it anywhere.

More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outcast_%28video_game%29

Edit, can buy from here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...nnorswebguidec

Re: Any RPG's you recommend?

I bought The WItcher again recently at my local PC store. I got it for $10. What a steal! The instruction manual never came with a CD key but Atari support just recently sent me one after I think, 11 days or so.

I have the enhanced version installed on it now and it plays nicely!

If you want to go WAY oldschool, Might and Magic VI wasn't bad. Though you may have to break out your old Windows 95, Pentium II machine to play it...

Re: Any RPG's you recommend?

Chrono Cross for the win! It's one
of the best RPG in the whole world!
Well, that's only my point of view.
I like the character of Serge who is
so innocent and serious yet brave,
strong and courageous. It's also for
girls, to all girls like me, you can play
this too. There's a beautiful character
there named Kid, she's one of a kind girl!

Re: Any RPG's you recommend?

Do you know what Kid's connection is to Chrono Trigger?

Chrono Cross is a truly epic and beautiful game with an excellent story. It's also plenty long so you won't be done with it after just a week of casual play.
