Cod 4 pc

Hi guys,

Firstly this is not so much a problem as a question about the online side of the game.

I want to buy it and play online but i read somewhere that it is somewhat dead online with not many people playing, is this true? Are there many servers and clans about?

Call of duty 4 is popular on all of its patches. Here is some proof, it doesn't show the full 100% who plays it but it shows a decent amount of who play it.

The link says they're 140,040 people on a day. Is 140,040 people online a day dead?

Edit: Were did you read this was dead online? Sounds like someone was bashing on call of duty 4

I have COD 4 and every time I play I see thousands of servers that have lots of people on each one.

I hear it's dead on the PS3; but then so are most online games.

And it's not dead on the PS3 since my brother always plays it on PS3.
But i can't see how people play FPS on consoles....

I could never play cod4 on a console, I played WaW on my friend's xbox and I never played it again on there. The controls felt weird.

Yep, espicially when your sniping... i mean you try and move left and it goes to far and by that time you've missed the target.
