Gaming mice

Hi guys i'm going to buy a new mouse for my gaming pc but i'm not sure which one to get.
My budget is around £20-30 (UK).
I know it's not much to spend but i don't want to be spending too much on a mouse.
Thanks a lot :)

Re: Gaming mice

What's pounds converted to USD? I think razer is a good brand.
Newegg Mouse 1
Ebay Mouse 2
Ebay Mouse 3

Ebay List
That's a whole list to choose from, I honestly have tried a razer before, and they are awesome! My brother has one it's quite big but it runs really smooth on the mousepad.

Re: Gaming mice

I have the Logitech MX518 and I don't think its too good. You should probably be looking at a laser mouse

I'm going to say to break the budget because I have this very mouse and it worth every penny

Logitech G9 gaming mouse
£39.97

Logitech G5 £24.28
Cheap, reliable, comfortable.
Nothing fancy but solid features and gets the job done. I've had mine for about 4-5 years now.

Re: Gaming mice

Of course, there's always the other side of the fence: I do all my gaming with a "Microsoft Basic" mouse. Cost: £4.88

Re: Gaming mice

In my opinion I have always liked precision when I game and I was getting annoyed at my measly 1,600dpi optical mouse. I game with my mouse at 3,200dpi but the ingame sensitivity left as default. With 1,000 reports per minute and the sensor being a laser I have never had more ease of movement in games before.

Its all about comfort and what you like. When I bought my G9 gaming mosue I wasn't comfortable with the claw grip and 3200 dpi so I kept it down to what I was used to, at around 1600 - 2000 dpi. I slowly went up to 3200 over a month or so. I remember the first game of COD4 I played with the mouse. I was getting at least 4 kills for every death but the people I was playing against, may been not so good.

My friend has the logitech G5. Its gaming quality so its got these features.

-adjustable wiegts
-dpi change on the fly
-nice smooth mouse pads (feet)
- max 1600 dpi which is nice
-laser mouse!

It doesn't weigh much without the weights, so you'll want to add some. The logitech G9 weighs next to nothing without the weights, ,maybe around 2 oz without weights.

Re: Gaming mice

I used to love my old Mx518 til lthe mouse feet or pads wore off. I abused it for so long.

I can't even compare the G9 and the MX518. The level of quality is just way up there.
