Which graphics card is better for games.

This-Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100
or this- Intel Extreme Graphics 2 better.

I'm buying a new computer and I just saw one thats a great deal. I use it for gaming. Which would be better for games like MapleStory, RoseOnline, and ijji Gunz. I know many people will suggest other graphic cards but please stick onto these 2 graphics cards. I need to know quick because I have a 15% off coupon for it and it expires in 2 days. =p

Intel Extreme Graphics 2 is pretty old from around 2003 the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 from about 2007 the latest from Intel is GMA X4500.

Its too bad all Intel IGP's are horrible for games.
The intel GMA X4500 is about as strong as a 7600GT without the proper shader models, so its still very limited in the games it can play.

None of them are really that good, but the X3100 is better. That isn't saying much though....

Almost any dedicated grphics card by ATI or Nvidia that is less than 4 years old is better than anything Itel is making within the next year or two.

Intel larrabee is a joke.

mmmm, the intel x4500 is not even close to the 7600 GT!

they made a benchmark for World in Conflict using Geforce 8400M GS, Intel x4500, Intel X3100

here are the results (in fps)

World in Conflict 1024x768 Low:
Geforce 8400M GS-21
GMA X4500-16
GMA X3100-11

World in Conflict 1024x768 Very Low:
Geforce 8400M GS-27
GMA X4500-22
GMA X3100-14

I think the 7600 GT can do much much better

don't ever play games using an intel card

Most integrated video does poorly when gaming because it's not designed for gaming, it's designed as business class graphics and for the general masses who will never buy a game to play on their computer.
