Left4Dead 2 Boycotters

As some of you know that over 17,000 people that bought Left4Dead boycotted Left4Dead 2 complaining that it is a full game and will released too soon. Valve defended the product saying that it is more than a DLC or an expansion pack. Which side do you people on on that situation? As for me, I could care less about the whole thing.

I won't be buying it, even if it gets universally good reviews.
I've already got L4D, I'm not paying for it again.

Like I said, I've already got L4D.
Not only are there very few differences to the original game, but I don't like the things they have changed. It's kind of a step backwards in my view.

Im with Tiber Septim on this one. The first was only interesting for a few weeks, its a very repetitive game. Even if the game was free to download i wouldn't waste my download limit on it i can not see how much more of a market valve can squeeze out of this franchise.

They should get on with the important stuff like Episode 3.

Yup, I really want to play Episode 3. Left4Dead in my eyes is just a random game by Valve as they were bored. I really didn't see Left4Dead 2 coming just a year after the first game. I might buy Left4Dead 2 because well, it looks fun.

If I can run it (I can run L4D pretty well, but I'm not sure how it'll do on this second one), I will be buying it. As for how I feel about the boycotts, I'll just quote myself from the other thread.

To be honest all valve games are repetitive...all you do is just play no ranking up or anything, that is why I don't play valve games as much.

well maybe not /all/ games. Sandbox ones if well made can be different more often.

as for LFD2 I don't think I'll get unless its really really cheap. LFD did get repetitive :/ (plus I cant run it anymore D: )

I personally can't wait for L4D2. This goes to say the diversity on TSF, which is great. I just hope they have a lot more content. I will be watching the videos as they come out for L4D2.

Well I personally love L4D even though they may rehash the original and re-release it with some new goodies added on. I would like to think that they might be nice to us original players of the game and perhaps sell it as an upgrade to the original perhaps on Steam as an Update on the server. I would have liked that but you know I spend money on more things that I might as well not see the next day such as a movie or a good meal but if I buy L4D I have it forever...

I'm not buying it because 1 L4D is a lousy game IMO. Also because VALVe is milking you guys for a quick buck, and they promised us CSS players a CS2... But I see no CS2 anywhere...

I heard of cs2, but were did you hear of that? I wonder if they make a cs2 what it would be like, more weapons and stuff and no ironsights or more like rainbow six with ironsights.

No, I never heard of any development for CS2 (Counter Strike 2). Unless they are doing this on purpose to make us hate then then once the unexpectedly release it we will love them..
