Warcraft 4?

Is it possible that Warcraft 4 will be implemented soon on PC gaming? Many of us playing DOTA with the use of WC3. Any opinions about this issue?

Yes I think that IF Warcraft 4 is made that they will absolutely make it for the PC, I mean why wouldn't they? The problem is, Blizzard made World of Warcraft instead of Warcraft 4 so we may never see WC4 or at least not for a long time, as they would have to make something dramatically different and new for it to be interesting, expecially with StarCraft 2 on the way.

I don't see it happening.
Number 1 - they are pretty busy working on WoW, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 and another brand new MMO based on a new IP.
Number 2 - they killed off all the characters and lore in WoW so there is really very little story left.

Maybe....they made sc2 and d3 after all....i have d2 and sc....there quite old...even d1 lol.
if they make wc4 I hope they make good melee, all wc3 games are scenario...

Blizzard have said that once they finish up with the new SC and Diablo, Warcraft IV will be something they LOOK AT... So don't expect WC4 to even be started by the start of 2010.. and considering how precise and long it takes Blizzard to make their games.. i wouldn't expect it anytime soon, if at all..

Hope they do though.

Based off how long it has taken them to make Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 - I'd say another 10 - 11 years...

Tiber is probably right, they would need to complete Diablo 3 and SC2 (remember, SC2 is being made in 3 seperate games) plus they got WoW on their hands, so after they finish the two games in 2-3 years and let that gain revinue for another year, they will then maybe consider starting Warcraft 4, so yes 5-10 years before Warcraft 4 comes out.

Lol @ sc2 and d3 coming out like 10 years later, I don't think warcraft 4 will come out, Wow took over warcraft IMO.No storyline left like tiber said.

There is storyline, just not lore, look up 'lore' if you don't know what it means, Zealex, as WoW took every last bit of it.

I know what lore is...but I feel like blizzard only cares about WoW now.If blizzard only cares about money I could only imagine they would invest in WoW.

I don't think I'd care about Warcraft 4 unless they changed the gameplay a lot like what Gas Powered Games thought of and made Supreme Commander.

There's going to be Starcraft 2 so why would I care about Warcraft 4 its probably won't be better than Company of Heroes or Dawn of War 2.

Well blizzard has taken the name Cataclysm (or something along those lines), for their new WoW expansion and the WoW expansions are usually 2ish years apart sooo...

and also the fact that where would any story be when they already have WoW? Unless this happened *Suddenly in the universe of Warcraft, everything blew up, now it is a new struggle with new army's and new hero's in a universe that kind of came up after the old one was destroyed! WC4- coming this summer". I find this highly unlikely.

5-8 years. It will happen, but not until after SC2, D3, and their new MMO come out. I guess the bottom line with any Blizzard title is "Don't Hold Your Breath."
