Re: Healthy Gaming

Yeah I take care of myself, except the fact that I never go out or do anything but sit and play for 16 hours, but I do wash myself, play in a well-lit area and all the rest. I am healthier than most athletes at my school.

Re: Healthy Gaming

I find the article a bit "touch in cheek" but the blogger has points. Yet, what is written about was also said about those who watch too much TV beginning decades ago too. Or go read a good book and find yourself in "Elvish Time" not noticing how much time has gone by before finally looking up at a clock.

Heh....I am a mom and I game. But still keep in mind to do housework, wash the dishes, feed the family and, as I also work at home.... still remain clerk and "chief bottle washer".

But I do have to remind my gamer son he needs to eat. Don't have a problem with my gamer daughter, though.

Re: Healthy Gaming

I do all the PC fixin in my house and I am the only gamer, really my sis she's got a Wii but seriously she never touches it

My dad wants nothing to do with computers not that I care,
my older bro lives with his gilfriend in their house and they have a couple PC's and some games but he's more into Rock band which isn't really anything serious

I make sure to eat and get exercise durring the day everyday - some bike riding and stuff.

I want to go back to doing Jiu jitsu once I get a job again, I'm getting closer to my Black belt thats probably a couple years off as I'm only a purple belt

white - 4 months or so
yellow - 4 months
orange - 4 months
green - 4 months
blue - 4 - 8 months
purple 4 - 8 months
brown - minimum of a year (most likely a year and a half or 2 years)
black - you've just begun to master Jiu Jitsu and then there's levels still

I'm black belt 6th year in Tae Kwon Do,third year Judo and Green belt in Karate. I also regularly hike, jog, marathon with my bike, work out in the gym, and eat lot's of bacon so I can get my fat back after loosing all those calories.

Re: Healthy Gaming

When not playing games, I love to do two things :

1- Mixing or "Deejaying" that's my hobby :P

2- go to the country side where my friends are

I've got friends in the city but don't see them that much!

I do some pushups every day, and I love to eat lots of vegetable and fruits

I don't have that perfect body (yes I'm guilty, I have a big belly :P)

Re: Healthy Gaming

Are you a real disc-jockey? with gigs and everything?

I love fruits and veggies, I eat them all the time. Unfortunately I can't just GO to the country where all my bovine friends are because I got no car.

Re: Healthy Gaming

To be honest, I hardly even get a chance to play games anymore. I've given my 360 to my brother so i've only got my laptop, its not even a gaming laptop. It's a good thing I go college.

Re: Healthy Gaming

I game for at least 2 hours a day if I can after work but eating healthy depends more on if i can afford it or not then lack of paying attention from too much gaming. I get exercise riding my bike too work tho.

Re: Healthy Gaming

It's really normal when you play games, but if you play it too much, that's not good at all and time is at cost. I always maintain my limtations on playing games, and always doing physical activities to make me healthy, and also eat nutritious foods and go dieting.
