EEK! Best Settings Needed.

Hi , i just bought a Samsung HDTV 1080p and i was surprisingly disappointed with the graphics i thought it would be better than that...so any advice on setting the TV to give it's full potential would be really appreciated...oh ya and btw im looking for gaming settings for a PS3.

you should be using HDMI wires.
quality can depend on the price of the wires

Even thought im using that exact cable monster HDMI but i was looking for the settings for the TV that are the best for gaming. thx anyways.

you might need to go into the TV's menu and change it to 1080p manually

I'm sorry for not being specific in my post , what i mainly need is the settings for the TV example contrast , brightness , back light and gamma and so on for gaming play.

well that is something you may have to just see what looks best for yourself since all TV's are different..

I agree with Ninja on this one.
All TV's are different, everybody has different preferences and the lighting of the room the TV resides in will play a part in what settings you use too.
Play around with the settings until you find a level you are happy with, you can't damage it at all. Worst comes to worst, you can reset it to factory defaults.

Don't waste the money on Monster cables. The ones my employer sells are better and cost far less. I bought a 6' cable from Newegg about a year ago and it works awesome.
