World in Conflict Weird looking trees!

When I installed World in Conflict today, I noticed a weird looking trees
I don't know if that is from the game which I doubt it very much

I posted 2 attachments, one in-game
and second one showing my graphic options
I get 35 to 40 fps (and when very graphical intense 23 to 25 fps) with these settings

any ideas guys?

Re: World in Conflict Weird looking trees!

That is very odd.
I tested the game with the same settings as yours, and my trees look fine.
I then checked with every setting as low as possible. The game looked terrible, but the trees were still 3D.

Is it happening in every map? You playing with any mods?

Pretty sure it just makes smoke and fog effects interact better with geometry. Rather than having a smoke sprite cut through a building and look dodgy.
