Vista or XP for gaming?
I have been searching the internet all day trying to get some opinions on this topic.
As of now I have a 32 bit XP OS. I am about to get a 64 bit XP and Vista disk. I just do not know which one would be better for gaming. Right now I have a GeForce GTX 260 and 4GB Oze RAM with a 1.5TB As far as I know 64 bit XP can see 4GB RAM max and 64 bit Vista can see 8GB of RAM max. |

Re: Vista or XP for gaming?
You have good amount of RAM and a very good Dx10 card, I'll say go for Vista but maybe Vista 64 is better cause you have 4 gig RAM

Since I am in college I can get any OS for free through the MSDN I might as well just get XP and Vista and dual boot. Or would dual booting give me any issues? |

Re: Vista or XP for gaming?
it's OK but be sure to put each OS on different partitions and it's preferable on different Hard drives
if you put XP on C: put Vista on D:

Re: Vista or XP for gaming?
I don't know why you need anothe 2.5 TB
isn't 1.5 TB good enough???? I mean you can download the hole Youtube on that thing!! (kidding) LOL!! but really 1.5 TB is more than enough only if you do some movie editing and every movie takes space like 30 to 40 GB!
